WebMay 21, 2024 · Yesterday Windows update installed the latest version of Realtek Audio Driver (v6.0.9147.1), but strangely enough my speakers and microphone are still working. I see that the driver version is 6.0.9147.1 on Device Manager but it still looks 6.0.8984.1 on Apps & Features. I didn't need to install the previous version this time. (yet )
WebSep 26, 2024 · I found that an Intel sound driver was corrupt, even after the Windows 10 reinstallation and upgrade to Windows 11. I disabled and then deleted the app in the Device Manager and then restarted. VOILA!! It worked! Look at the Intel apps in the Device Manager.
