Maybe a magnifier assuming a code is even printed on the chip. HWinfo64 was not capable, tried it on my pro 3400. So somehow hwinfo64 was interfering and causing it to crash. I haven't had it do that to any other program, and I disabled Asus EC monitoring - same thing.
